It is said that we all live but not all has experienced life. I was once one of those corporate zombies who drifted in and out of the office with a real goal in mind, but the goal has no room for actually living life. The goal was just to achieve the so-called success dictated by our, superficial culture.
Hunger is one of the basic drives in human psychology. To be hungry for something is to be intensely motivated. To get something that you want, you have to not only desire it, but be hungry for it.
I am a proud paddler. The only regret that I have in trying out dragon boat paddling as a sport is that I didn't do so sooner. I would have been a better individual with a bigger hunger for experience and life.
I am hungry for physical well-being. Having been hit by one physical ailment after another woke me up to do something about it. Now I can say I am almost there, but I would not stop taking care of myself and pushing myself to be more active.
I am hungry for good food. Yes, I am one of those people who can live without a lot of material things, but never without good food. It is a good thing I don't get too fat for all the food I can manage to consume. Nowadays, I try to limit my junk intake and focus on flavor and nutrients. Something I wish to share to my yet nonexistent audience.
I am hungry to fulfill my personal goals which more often than not involve my advocacy to create my country a better place for the future generations.
Welcome to my blog. I will share with you my quest to feed my hunger for physical activities, food, the arts, culture, adventure, and life. Meet the hungry paddler, hungry for everything that will make her feel alive.
